Terms of Use

Effective date: 23 October 2026

These terms cover the Krumbs: Recipe Keeper iOS app ("Krumbs"), made by Microcline Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By using Krumbs you agree to them. Your licence to the app itself is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA); these terms add to it where Krumbs Pro and the recipe-import service are concerned. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its support.

Free use

Krumbs is free to download and use. Saving, editing, planning meals and shopping lists are never limited. The free plan keeps a library of up to 20 recipes, however they arrive — from a shared link, a photo or typed in by hand. When the library is full, recipes you share are kept and imported as soon as there is room, or straight away with Krumbs Pro.

Krumbs Pro

Krumbs Pro lifts the free library limit. It is sold through Apple's App Store in four forms:

  • Krumbs Pro Weekly — an auto-renewing subscription, billed every week.
  • Krumbs Pro Monthly — an auto-renewing subscription, billed every month.
  • Krumbs Pro Yearly — an auto-renewing subscription, billed every year.
  • Krumbs Pro Lifetime — a one-time purchase that never renews.

The price is shown in the app, in your local currency, before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions

Weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Your Apple ID is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Krumbs Pro until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and Apple handles refund requests under its own policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

Founders

If your Apple ID first downloaded Krumbs before version 1.1, your library and imports stay unlimited at no charge, with nothing to buy or activate.

Your recipes

Everything you save in Krumbs is yours. We have no access to it, and you can export any cookbook as a file at any time. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

The import service

Automatic recipe import depends on third-party services and on the websites and apps you share from, so it may occasionally be unavailable or fail for a particular post. The service is for personal use; to keep it working for everyone, requests are limited per installation and may be refused when they do not come from a genuine copy of Krumbs. Imported recipes are extracted automatically — check them against the original before you rely on them.

Changes

We may add, change or retire features over time, and we may update these terms; when we do, the effective date above changes. Continuing to use Krumbs after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Krumbs is provided as is, and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
